SUV Collides With Dump Truck, Killing NJ Woman

An accident involving an SUV and a dump truck on a rural road left one New Jersey woman dead on Monday morning. Authorities say the accident occurred around 8:45 a.m. on Route 524, when the woman’s 2001 Lincoln Navigator collided with the front end of the dump truck as it was making a left turn on the rural road. The SUV swerved off the side of the road and flipped over, ejecting the woman from the vehicle. Sources say the 29-year old driver of the truck was uninjured in the accident.

New Jersey Turnpike Closed Following Six-Vehicle Collision

A six-vehicle accident forced authorities to close the New Jersey Turnpike for two hours on Tuesday morning. Four tractor-trailers, as well as an SUV and one pickup-truck were involved in the accident, which may have been caused by heavy traffic and slick road conditions. Two men who were in the SUV were transported to local hospitals following the accident.

Edison Accident Shuts Down Route 18
