A 42-year-old woman was driving with three passengers when a pickup truck hit their car. Two of the passengers, who were both in their 80s were pronounced dead days later in the hospital. A recent accident that took place in Edison resulted in seven utility poles being pulled down. The accident involved a tractor-trailer according to reports.

Members of the New Brunswick community held a candlelight vigil recently for a boy who was killed in mid-October attempting to cross Route 18 at its intersection with Commercial Avenue with three friends.
