Truck driver charged in accident on Burlington-Bristol Bridge

The truck driver involved in a fatal truck accident on Burlington-Bristol Bridge has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident and hindering apprehension.
The 46-year-old driver was driving a dump truck on the bridge when he hit the vehicle causing it to cross the center line into oncoming traffic and strike another vehicle. He left the scene and did not notify authorities, he was then found leaving the bridge and using back streets to get to his destination.

Trucker killed in Rt. 80 accident

A driver was killed in a truck accident when it flipped over when attempting to exit Route 80.
The 65-year-old woman was trapped in the 2006 Freightliner after it flipped over, according to New Jersey State Police. Emergency crews were rushed to the scene, but the woman was later pronounced dead at the scene almost an hour after the accident occurred. Further details and the cause of the accident are currently being investigated.
