Man dies from injuries suffered in motorcycle accident

A Sicklerville man has died due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on State Route 45 last Monday.

The 54-year-old man was traveling southbound on the roadway while another driver awaited to cross the road from the parking lot of a supermarket. When the vehicles approached the intersection, they collided with each other causing the motorcyclist to be thrown from the bike.

The man was transported to the hospital, but succumbed to his injuries on Saturday. The other driver did not suffer life threatening injury, but was transported to the hospital as a precaution. The state of New Jersey has reached 487 deaths due to motorcycle accidents this year.
