Twenty-four injured in NJ bus accident

Posted on Friday, June 25th, 2010 at 1:00 pm

Twenty-four people were injured in a bus accident after the bus crashed into two cars and a retaining wall before coming to stop. The bus, which is owned by Sun Lee Co., was on its way to Atlantic City from New York’s Chinatown when the crash occurred.

The crash occurred on Route 40 around 11:30 a.m. as the bus was unable to stop at a traffic light in time. The driver of the bus was thrown through the windshield on impact.

After being thrown from the bus he was then ran over by it. He is currently in critical condition. The other victims were also transported to the hospital.

Bus accidents can occur unexpectedly, our thoughts are with the friends and family of the victims.
