Fatal Accident Caused by Alzheimer's Patient

Posted on Wednesday, December 2nd, 2009 at 11:01 am

Yesterday’s fatal car accident on the New Jersey Turnpike was caused by a woman suffering from Alzheimer’s, according to police reports. If someone close to you has died in a fatal car accident, the Edison car accident lawyers of Levinson Axelrod may be able to fight for the compensation you deserve.

The woman had apparently stopped the Mercury she was driving in the far left lane of the Turnpike with her lights off. Because it was early morning, it was almost impossible for other motorists to see her. A Subaru hit the Mercury first, before a semi truck smashed into it and sent it careening into a concrete median barrier, where it burst into flames. The woman was declared dead at the scene. No one else was injured.
