If you are ever struck by another vehicle or in an accident, the one factor that may make the most difference in the severity of the accident is a seat belt. If a seat belt is worn, an individual may be able to walk away from a serious accident. If a seatbelt is not worn, an individual may be seriously injured in a relatively minor accident.
A seat belt can really make a tremendous difference in an accident. Always buckle up and give yourself a chance at walking away from a serious collision.

Helmets are extremely important for construction workers. Many serious construction worker injuries that take place are a result of head trauma. In many cases, much of the trauma could have been prevented and absorbed had a helmet been in use.
Helmets are particularly important for construction projects that involve large buildings. Many work related accidents are caused when objects fall from above and land on a workers head. Even a small object can cause serious injury if it falls from a relatively tall height.
Clear procedures need to be in place that defines the proper utilization of head protection around a work site to prevent a possibly serious injury from occurring.
